Privacy Policy

2. The principle: a data-minimal website
This website is deliberately built to process as little personal data as possible:
- no analytics or tracking scripts, no marketing tools, no tracking pixels;
- no third-party content — fonts, graphics and all other resources are served from this website's own server;
- no contact form — contact is by e-mail only;
- no cookies. The only local entries are described in section 5.
3. Hosting and server logs
This website is hosted on infrastructure of DigitalOcean, LLC (105 Edgeview Drive, Broomfield, CO 80021, USA). Data center region: Frankfurt, Germany (FRA1).
When you visit this website, the web server automatically records technical access data: IP address, date and time, requested URL, HTTP status, transferred bytes, referrer and user agent. This data is required to deliver the website reliably and to detect misuse and attacks. Server logs are deleted after fourteen days at the latest. Where the GDPR applies, the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the secure, reliable operation of the website).
4. Reach measurement without tracking
Aggregate usage figures (page views, approximate visitor counts) are derived exclusively from the server logs described in section 3, on the server, without cookies, without client-side scripts and without profiles. IP addresses are truncated before evaluation. No data is shared with third parties for this purpose.
5. Local storage — your choices
This website sets no cookies. If you make a choice in the privacy dialog, that choice is stored in a localStorage entry (tg_consent) in your browser for a maximum of twelve months, so the dialog does not reappear on every visit. If you switch the colour scheme (light/dark), that preference is stored in a second entry (tg_theme). Both entries are strictly functional, contain no identifiers and never leave your browser. You can change or delete them at any time via "Cookie settings" in the footer, the theme switch, or by clearing this site's data in your browser.
No content on this website currently requires consent. Should external content ever be added, it would load only after your consent, and this policy would be updated beforehand.
6. E-mail contact
If you contact us at office@thomale-group.com, the data you provide is processed to handle your enquiry and retained as long as commercial record-keeping requires. Where the GDPR applies, the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps prior to a contract) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (handling correspondence).
7. Recipients and international transfers
The only service provider with access to technical access data is the hosting provider named in section 3. DigitalOcean, LLC is headquartered in the United States; where personal data of persons in the EU/EEA is processed, transfers are safeguarded by the EU standard contractual clauses and, where applicable, the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. This website is operated by a US company and addresses primarily a US audience.
8. Your rights
Where the GDPR applies to you, you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR), and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Requests can be sent to office@thomale-group.com.
9. Security
This website is delivered exclusively over TLS (HTTPS). Restrictive security headers, including a content security policy, limit what the pages are allowed to load. There is no automated decision-making within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR.
10. Updates
This policy is updated when the law or the technical setup of this website changes. The current version is always available on this page.
